The DTI together with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) launched the Mentor Me on Wheels (MMOW), and the Money and Market Encounter (MME) on Friday, June 21, in Iloilo City.

The MME opened the registration of participants from 8AM at the MO2 Westown Hotel in Smallville Complex, while at the same time the MMOW opened around 10AM at the North Point Event Center in SM City Iloilo.

The MMOW is a FREE one-on-one nationwide mentorship session with aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. This mentorship event focuses on two topics with regards to business mentorship: entrepreneurial mind-setting, and marketing.

PCE-accredited mentors listened and coached participants in various business industries like food, manufacturing, healthcare, service, agriculture, creative, information and technology, retail, and education, among others.

Each mentee was given 30 minutes during the mentorship session.

The MME, on the other hand, provided opportunity to at least 150 mentee-graduates of the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) program from Region VI to link with other financial institutions and market opportunities.

Module on markets was discussed with partner institutions who are into digital platforms, the brick and mortar and the cashless payment applications. Money module followed through as banking and other financial institutions present their latest offering for MSMEs.

Mentee graduates freely interacted and sought assistance through business matching that could provide them with additional capital or resources and potential markets – online and offline.♦
