Witness Western Visayas’ renewed crafts and flavors at the Panublion Heritage Fair 2018. With the theme, “New + Now and Next,” nothing is boring during the five-day product exhibition.

“Nothing trite as we down-age our brand image into the millennial and digital age yet we do not forget our tradition and heritage,” said Filipino International Lifestyle Designer PJ Arañador, curator and creative director of the Panubli-on Heritage Fair 2018.

The DTI Region VI will open the annual celebration of the region’s craftsmanship, skills, and artistry at SM City – Iloilo Activity Center in Mandurriao District, Iloilo City on 14 to 18 November.

“We preserve our crafts. We embrace our past to create today for tomorrow. Least we do not forget design inspirations around us for the biggest assembly of design-led crafts and food exhibitions in the region,” Arañador added.

There will also be a Christmas visual merchandising contest, best product design awards, Panubli-on Heritage Awards, culinary table setting competitions, do-it-yourself crafts corner, coffee brewing, daily fashion shows and many more trade fair innovations.

The Panublion Heritage Fair showcases the output of all efforts in assisting MSMEs from branding, packaging and labeling with sought after consultants and experts for the food and non-food sector, said DTI VI Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon.

The product showcase will feature Western Visayas’ creations ranging from gifts, housewares and decors, fashion accessories of indigenous fibers like piña, abaca, raffia, unique furnishings and novelty items, among others.

The DTI VI encourages the public to support the activity by using the hashtags #panublionnewnownext and #dtipanublion 2018 in their social media posts to create awareness and promote the products of our MSMEs.
