Napaka importante po sa isang negosyo ang maging masinop sa pera. We really need to have, unang-una, magandang negosyo, tamang business model, tamang negosyo at ‘yun naman po ang mga binibigay na seminar ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) para po maging maganda ang negosyo at maganda ang kita. We will need to have that mindset na sa ating bawat kita ay kailangang maging masinop at nag-iipon. We don’t just spend it for ourselves at ginagastos ang pera ng negosyo. Sabi nga, ang pera mo ay para sa iyo at magsweldo ka para sa iyo, pero ang pera ng negosyo ay dapat maiwan sa negosyo at iyon ang paiikutin para lumago nang lumago. Iyan po ang sistema talaga sa pag–manage po ng kaperahan sa pagnenegosyo.
Amidst the pandemic talagang marami pa ring opportunities na matatagpuan at madi-discover tayo. In fact, ngayon pong pandemic, noong 2020 tumaas po ang newly-registered businesses up to 900,000 as of December 17, 2020. ‘Yun ang highest growth rate of 41% since 2010. Ang online retailers increased from 1,700 noong January to March of last year before the lockdown. Pero noong nag–lockdown lalo pang lumaki at umakyat yung 1,700 to 88,000 as of end of December 2020. Diyan po nagtapos ang taon sa 88,000.
Ang DTI po will always be here to help you find the right business so that you can become SMARTER ENTREPRENEURS. ‘Yan po ang goal, ang ambisyon po na tinitignan ng ating pamahalaan. Hindi lamang regular entrepreneurs, kung hindi SMARTER ENTREPRENEURS. Kaya parati pong may seminars tayo sa pag–review ng business models: how to differentiate, need to be unique among competitors; how to innovate, need to be relevant and address issues in the society or of the market; and of course, napaka-importante, financial discipline, how to manage your money properly. And again, thank you sa programa po sa Diskartech ngayon ay kasama na rin po ang financial discipline sa kanila pong mga tinutulong.
DTI can help you with other MSME programs. Nariyan po ang Kapatid Mentor ME na online na rin po because of the pandemic. It focuses on Mentorship, Money, and Market. It helps MSMEs para mag scale up at ma-sustain ang negosyo. Ito po ay nili-link natin sa ibang programa kung paano magkaroon ng sariling market for your product. Pag link sa sources of capital and market at magkaroon din ng mga programa. Meron tayong mga programa in Business Improvement Plan (BIP) at ang pag i-improve nito. Ang importante po kasi ay yung MSMEs natin ay makapag–adjust, makapag–ipon, at makapag–prepare for the “New Normal.”
Mayroon din po tayong seminars for Accounting for Non-Accountants. Isa po itong collaboration ng DTI web with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) at kasama rin ang ibang eskwelahan tulad po ng Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). Meron ding partnership with First Circle MOU. Mayroon din po tayong seminars tungkol sa financial services and information.
In closing, maging madiskarte po tayo! Mag-impok! As you know, kasama po sa being SMART ENTREPRENEURS ay maging SMART WITH YOUR MONEY. Kailangan ipunin ang pera. Save your money to make more money o ang kasabihang, “money begets more money.” Get value for your hard-earned money, umiwas din sa mga scam. Whether as an employee or as the boss of your own company, kailangan talagang maging mas productive ang ating mga kaperahan para po lumago nang lumago po ito. Para po makamtan natin, ma-achieve natin ang better and more comfortable quality of life as envision by our President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
