PH Manufacturing expands in January, records highest PMI in 25 months

MANILA—The Philippine Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) increased from 49.2 last month to 52.5 in January, posting above the 50.0 neutral mark separating expansion from contraction. Japan’s medical device manufacturer eyes expansion, to offer more technical training programs for Filipino engineers

  TOKYO – Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez kickstarted the agency’s business mission to Japan on 11 March 2019 with a dialogue with Terumo (Philippines) Corporation President Toshiyuki Akihata.
