PH to maximize trade opportunities with India
27 August 2020 | The total trade of the Philippines and India is growing but its full potential has not been fully realized yet. In 2019, India was the Philippines’ 17th export market valued at US$545.45 million contributing only 0.77% share to the total Philippine exports. In comparison, Philippine imports from India amounted to US$1.83 billion or 1.64% of total imports. As such, the Philippines has been active in conducting and participating in various trade promotion activities to explore and maximize the trade opportunities between the two countries.
DTI to PH exporters: grab opportunities in Latin America
24 July 2020 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its Export Marketing Bureau (EMB), Foreign Trade Service Corps (FTSC), and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Mexico is urging Philippine exporters to sell to Latin America market as the three government agencies are setting up a webinar for PH exporters interested in developing trade relations with Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile. The webinar entitled “Philippine Export Opportunities in Latin America” will be held on 28 July, 2020, via Zoom, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
